Trip to Singapore

It's always an adventure to fly half way around the world to a place we have never been before. It took us nearly 24 hours travel time. The actual flight time was 18 hours, then we had layovers on top of that. We were comfortable but tired.
We arrived at night and had a good night's sleep and then the next day took a bus city tour to see the sites.

On the second day we went to see the big hotel (the Marina Bay Sands) that Tim has doors in. It is massive! It has a large ship on top of three towers with a swimming pool that looks like it goes right over the edge. The project from Won-door was worth $1 million but the entire building/structure is worth over $6 billion. It is crazy how much wealth is here. They have laws against chewing gum and throwing it on the street. (An $80 fine if you're caught) In fact, they don't SELL gum here!

We had dinner with the people who installed the doors. They are lovely Chinese people but the food has been a little hard to eat.
