A very Happy 29th Birthday to Adam who is far away in Paris with Becca! It feels like it has been a week long celebration, but there is no one better to celebrate than you. I love you dearly and I am so proud to have such a wonderful young man as a son. Thank you for giving us lovely Becca and precious Livy. Eat a waffle for me in Bruge and don't hurry home. . . we are enjoying Olivia too much.

I love you because you have an amazing sense of humor, and always make people laugh; you are a GIVING person and will forever be the brother that was willing to share 1/2 of his Twix with whatever sibling asked him first (who does that??); you are a awesome dad-- I mean, Miss Livy would make any parents beam, because she is an angel, but she is also pretty lucky to have you as a daddy; and I love you because you are tender. I will always recall that day in my Erie, PA hospital, just 2 days after I had given birth to James and seeing you walk into my hospital room. What brother would drive hours out of his way to see his sis in the middle of nowhere? I love you for that and for your heart. You're like a big brother to me. Love you so much, and hope you had a wonderful birthday.

And while we missed having you with us on your birthday, squeezing little Livy was great compensation. She is such a doll!! Just want you to know how proud I am of you. I have watched you become such an amazing father, a devoted husband, a caring and supportive friend, and the simply the kindest and most loving son that any parents could have.
