Happy Birthday Hilary!
To our additional daughter Hilary who is a joy beyond measure. I am so proud of you and the amazing and mature young woman that you are. I love to be with you and chat about anything and everything. I trust you completely and know you have a wonderful future ahead of you. Thanks for all you have taught me. I know you have a mother in heaven who is deeply pleased. Hope you had a nice birthday. It was so fun to be with you and Megan for lunch!

Happy Birthday Hillary! I just want to tell you how much I admire what a dedicated and faithful missionary I could tell you were. I know that will be something that blesses you all your life. I hope you know how amazing I think you are: funny, caring, sweet, easy to talk to, and a peacemaker. I love you and am so glad you are in our family.

Happy Birtday Hilly Dear. You are such an amazing young woman! I am so proud of you for your righteous desires and your willing and obedient heart. It does sort of bug me that you are a better baseball player than me, but other than that you are just an awesome person who continues to bless my life. Love you much.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't love you more if you were my own sister. I love how close we have always been. Most of my fondest childhood memories include you. You are the life of the party, but also have a tender heart which I love. My favorite quality about you is your loyalty. You are such a loyal friend and someone who I can completely confide in. I can't even describe how much your friendship has meant to me over the years. I love you so much. I only wish I saw you more often! Thanks for letting me vent to you so many times and for being my little go-to therapist! haha I love you :)

ReplyDeleteIt seems like every time I spend even a minute with you I think about how enormously proud your mother must be of you. You have become so much like her. You have tremendous faith, a sweet and righteous heart and a sincere desire to bless the lives of other people. I want you to know how grateful that Michele and I are to have you in our lives. You bring us great joy and it is so fun to have you spend time with us. I used to think that your most distinguishing characteristic was that you were the best athlete in the Welch family, the older I get I am convinced it has more to do with your desire to what is right and respect the feelings and promptings you have received about your life.
