Tending Olivia

Tending Olivia all last week while Adam and Becca are in Europe was a joyful experience. Livy bonded immediately with her grandpa. . . but then what child wouldn't when they are taken twice to ride the pony and see the baby animals at Thanksgiving Point? She pretty much ruled the roost but was a delight to have. She is so smart and cuddly. One morning she just walked around the house and giggled. It was like she didn't know where to get started first!
Livy and her "morning" hair do.
Livy says, "I just pull on his ears and he goes where I want him to."

Besides the high chair, the tub seemed to be the place she liked the best.
A note from Adam makes it clear that they are having a great time as well:

Hi Fam-

Just thought I'd check in real quick and let you know we're safe and sound and having fun. We are in Rome today and have been devouring the pizza, crepes and gellato like crazy. We spent the morning at the Vatican and were just a few feet from the Pope. It was their morning "devotional" of some sorts, and thousands flocked to see him. Rome has been an incredible place to walk. The ruins of the old city were especially fascinating, particularly the old forum and the Colosseum.

Glad we returned the rental car on Monday. Driving around Flemish country tested my geography skills to the max, but Normandy and Brugge were well worth it for sure. Surreal and majestic in their own right. Point-de-hoc still has many battle scars & German bunkers, and Belgium was fun to relax and bike around.

We leave for Florence in the morning, then Venice on Friday and Interlocken for the weekend before we return. Missing our little girl, and of course you all, but having tons of fun. Much love

Adam & Bec
